Katy Perry is having a Firework Contest. My very dear friend Alexandra Stephens entered the contest. She submitted a video about one of my best friends, Ian Berry. He recently passed away and was a lot of peoples firework. He was a brother, best friend, dancer, son, nephew, uncle, duet partner, teammate, and so much more. He meant the world to a lot of people and made an impact in so many lives. I was lucky enough to have known Ian for 10 years and he was one of my best friends. He could always fill the room with cheer and make everyone smile. He was so talented and such a beautiful person. His life ended too soon and I feel that everyone should be able to know Ian. I’ve been following your blog for almost a year now and I just wanted to share this video with you. If you could share this video with anyone you know that would be wonderful. Ian’s life and gift should be shared, not kept away. Please pass this on and vote for him and Alex if you chose. Thank you so much!!!!

Katy Perry will continue to wear latex dresses for as long as she can.

The Firework singer, who is famed for her penchant for quirky, colourful clothes, said she wants to enjoy fashion while she’s young.

Perry told People: “They [clothes] have an expiration date and that’s why I’m wearing them now at 25. I’m such a sucker for a theme, so if I go somewhere like Vegas, I’ll dress like Vegas! Or if it’s Christmas time, I’ll dress like Mrs. Claus! ”

She added: “I think sometimes with the themed stuff … ’I won’t be wearing that to get my Starbucks today. Although maybe my whipped cream bra I’ll wear, because I’ll help [the baristas] out. ‘I got it! I got it! Hold the cream! No worries’.”

The star, who married British comedian Russell Brand last month, added she’s been fashion-conscious ever since she was a littlie.

“I’ve always been girly … even though I was a tomboy. My mother said when I was a kid, I was changing for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I don’t make it a big deal, I just do it.”
