I don't think it's fair to generalize Gaga fans. Gaga has a very large, dedicated fanbase, so of course they're going to jump on anyone who dares to be different because, to them, she is the first artist to do what she's doing. While I don't think she's copying Gaga, per se, if it weren't for Gaga, Katy wouldn't be trying to be out there with her videos, looks, and so on. Ever since Gaga popped up, she's been trying to do different things. And that's alright, that's the name of the game. But don't sit there and say the majority of her fans are like that. Katy Perry herself is a very hateful person, always vaguely trying to call people out on Twitter for no reason.
I said that I knew not all her fans are full of hate because I’ve met Little Monsters that are amazing people.
Also, I don’t think Katy is trying to “be out there” with her videos. I think it’s part of her evolution as an artist. Gaga has also changed a lot since “Just Dance” and she has done amazing so why can’t Katy do it, too?
Katy is not a hateful person, it’s totally the opposite. She’s really loving and caring but I guess that’s just the way you see her and I’ m not going to discuss that because everyone has their own opinions and feels different about people. Anyway, thanks for your comment :)
Do you think it was intentional that Katy Perry's "ET" video is extremely similar to the space theme of Lady Gaga's latest "Born This Way" video?
I’m just going to say that Katy shot the video way before Lady GaGa’s video for BTW was released. That’s it.
