Katy Perry admits to having a girl crush on Cheryl Cole and would love to work with her in the future.
Gushing about the English singer - who Katy met recently during her guest judge spot on The X Factor - the Teenage Dream star said: “I adore Cheryl - she’s amazing.
“I’m very happy with my own English stud [Russell Brand] but if I wasn’t with him I’d be trying to date Cheryl.
“Nobody should be as beautiful as she is. I know people get turned on by Simon’s power but if I was single I’d rather sleep with Cheryl than Simon.”
Perry also hinted that Cheryl has already been made a judge on Simon Cowell’s new show, the US version of The X Factor, when it launches in 2011.
Katy said: “After ‘The X Factor US’ I think she’ll be a fashion icon. The US is going to love her - and I want to perform with her.”
The California Gurls singer could also become an American X Factor judge herself next year, according to new reports.
